11+ (Year 7 entry)

Interest has increased in recent years from families seeking to enrol their child in Year 7. Most, but not all, children will join us from state primary schools with a view to completing two years before moving on to Independent London day or country boarding schools.

St Anthony’s prepares boys in Years 7 and 8 to sit Common Entrance exams and assists families in their applications to senior schools. Admission into Year 7 is based on boys reaching a satisfactory standard in English and Maths assessments as well as an interview. Please contact the Registrar to arrange a tour of the school and to meet the Head and senior staff.

As part of our strategy for Digital Literacy all boys in Years 6 – 8 are provided with an individual laptop for work in school and for prep. Alongside this, boys will be fully prepared to sit traditional written exam papers.

Occasional places

Boys will be asked to sit an age-appropriate assessment in English and Maths.

Please don’t hesitate to contact the school Registrar, Emma Hollender who will answer any questions and arrange for a visit.
