Match report: St Anthony's vs The Hall

This was probably the toughest game of the season, and was going to be close, but we were excited and full of confidence. The game started well for us and we went into a 15-0 lead, but before long The Hall came back at us and scored a well-worked try. As the game went on, both teams pushed and worked hard for the ball but just before half time we struck and scored a solid team try! At half time the score was 20-5 we had worked hard and deserved the lead.

The second half started and both teams got stuck in! Suddenly we broke through as they passed the ball back from a penalty. We charged up and as we did so, the ball fell loose, Harrison grabbed it and scored! We were winning comfortably when the game took a difficult turn and The Hall scored three tries. There was only one try in it now, but then we got a penalty and Harrison tapped and scored. Finally, the ref called the game to an end. We had worked hard and were tired but happy about the score .The toughest game of the season was over and we had won.
