World Book Day

Posted: 5th March 2020

Seven school children wearing different costumes, stood in front of a projector screen.

Dog Man, Peter Rabbit, The Cat in the Hat, Harry Potter and Zac Power were among the exciting characters that turned up at St. Anthony’s today. The Junior House pupils and teachers all came dressed as book characters to celebrate World Book Day 2020. We enjoyed a morning parade and, following the theme of Book Day, to ‘share a million stories’, pupils joined with other classes around the school to read their favourite books out loud. Some boys even shared stories that they had written themselves! A love of books and reading was shared by all.
